Dear Reader,

If you clicked on this link you’re probably curious about the woman who holds the microphone (err.. I mean iPhone) and how I go about getting to meet all of these talented people.  Well, I am a 26 year old Sagittarius based in Columbus, OH.  I graduated from OSU with a degree in Fashion Design. I realized a few months after I received my diploma that I was much more passionate about music and writing. I started my regular blog as a small outlet for sharing the music that I love.

The inspiration for Jack in the Pocket came from various conversations with artists after their shows here in Columbus.  I found; the more I conversed with a musician the better I understood their music; the more it became near and dear to me.  I wanted to share this with the world so I decided interviewing would be my best route.  Thus Jack in the Pocket was born! 

I mainly get interviews by contacting band’s Press Agents. It’s a lot of hard work, from initial contact to arranging the photographer to interviewing to transcribing to posting.
