THE ALLAH-LAS WANT YOU TO HELP SAVE THE AWÁ TRIBE

Photo by   Erika Mugglin When we interviewed the  Allah-Las  last month, we told them about  Survival International  efforts to save the Awá. They immediately agreed to show their support by having their photo taken with the campaign sticker. The Awá is one of the last surviving nomadic tribes of the Amazon rain forest. Loggers and miners are encroaching on their protected land, threatening their survival. Learn more about how you can support the Awá by visiting  www.SurvivalInternational.org If you are in a band and wish to get involved, email Jane Winters at jw2@survivalinternational.org .
